Bramble Theatre Company presents a staged reading of CLOWNFISHING, written by Bailey Jordan Garcia and directed by Jessica Love, as the first play in our 2026 Spring Reading Series, which is being presented in collaboration with Oak Park Area Arts Council. There will be a short talkback after the reading.  This reading will be presented at Bramble Arts Loft in Andersonville.  Set in the early days of online anonymity, CLOWNFISHING follows Bryson, a grieving teenager, who slips into his dead best friend’s digital persona to entrap her former bully. This turns into both a freeing and dangerous exploration of identity, gender, sexuality, and grief, while also facing the reality of still having to exist in a body.  Tickets are Pick-Your-Price from $5 to $35.  Cast members for this reading will be announced at a future date.
