Environmental Encroachment rolls into Fitzgerald's Patio with their roving brass band and performance art happening. The longtime Chicago collective blends second line rhythms, psychedelic street-theater, and joyous chaos, weaving through the crowd in costumes and pulling dancers into the swirl. Horn choruses collide with marching drums and tuba thump, then settle into sweet, ragged harmonies. It is communal, unpretentious, and tailor-made for a summer night outside.
